Belmont does not set rent rates. Landlords are encouraged to take a look in the area the unit is located in and utilize housing listings to compare rent rates.
2. Do I need to include utilities in the rent?
No. It is up to the landlord to include the price of utilities in the amount of rent. But, if the tenant is expected to pay for any of the utilities, there must be a separate meter for each one.
